The building itself boasts a storied past, having served as a residence for Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart in the 18th century. Under the management of Mr. Bogensperger, Hotel Das Tigra offers a personal and warm atmosphere that stands in deliberate contrast to large hotel chains. Every detail is meticulously designed to ensure the most pleasant stay possible - a successful fusion of tradition and modernity.
Upon entering the hotel, guests are greeted at reception by a sophisticated and informative video wall comprising four 46-inch screens. This centerpiece displays impressions of the hotel, world clocks, directions, videos, and local excursion tips, serving as a captivating first point of interest.
Reliable, hotel-wide Wi-Fi is an essential amenity for today’s discerning guest, and at Hotel Das Tigra, it is guaranteed. This infrastructure was implemented by goingsoft using the existing coaxial cabling (COAX), avoiding the need for invasive structural renovations. Strategically positioned access points ensure a robust and seamless connection throughout the entire premises.
A home away from home
The hotel places great emphasis on digital communication and an exceptional exchange of information. Consequently, guest rooms are equipped with HOTAINMENT Smart TVs, providing a comprehensive entertainment experience. Beyond traditional television, they offer a personalised greeting and extensive infotainment features. From digital guest directories to privacy-compliant streaming options (such as Netflix), guests can access local attractions, news, and hotel services, or enjoy a movie night using their own streaming accounts directly on the TV. Thanks to the comprehensive network, interference-free Wi-Fi is available in every room, facilitating the convenient use of private smartphones, tablets, or laptops—ideal for business travellers, seminar guests, and holidaymakers alike.
