Renovated and expanded in 2013, the 4-star traditional Hotel Rimberg skillfully combines heritage with contemporary luxury. The result is a harmonious blend of high-quality, nature-inspired decor and modern comfort, providing guests with a unique experience.

 

Successful upgrade for the guest Wi-Fi

As part of these renovations, a dedicated guest Wi-Fi network was installed. However, after nearly 10 years in use, it no longer met the increasing demands of our guests. Previously, Wi-Fi was only available in the lobby, leading to numerous complaints as guests lacked internet access in their rooms. Nowadays, it's hard to imagine a vacation without continuous online connectivity. A secure, stable, and reliable Wi-Fi significantly enhances the quality of service for guests and adds a special touch to their stay.

In light of this, the hotel's technical manager, Karsten T. Vogel, approached us with a request for comprehensive, seamless, professional, and future-proof Wi-Fi networking. The goal was to implement a modern, high-performance, and, above all, expandable network to meet both current and future requirements.

Installation of Wi-Fi with state-of-the-art technology

By strategically placing multiple access points throughout the building, we were able to significantly enhance reception. Furthermore, there is the option to supplement this solution, if needed, with a hybrid technology like COAX, utilizing existing cabling. This ensures not only optimal coverage but also the flexibility to adapt the network infrastructure to future requirements.

Professional Wi-Fi management with goingsoft netcontrol

In addition to essential hardware, reliable and continually evolving software is crucial. Our netcontrol provides a particularly clear and user-friendly web interface as a central management tool. This management app allows easy monitoring of all functions and services, generating tickets, creating packages, and managing all hotspots or areas.

But that's not all: IT security and reliability are becoming increasingly important. With the "Netwatch" module complementing netcontrol 365, you have constant visibility into the network infrastructure. With just one click, you can view all installed, assigned, and networked infrastructure devices such as Wi-Fi access points, switches, etc.
